Not getting popup list of 10 most recently opened documents

Hi,
I have Windows 7 installed on my laptop.
When I click the Start button in bottom left corner of screen and then click Microsoft Excel 2007 I get  a popup which displays the 10 most recently opened excel files.Similarly when I click the Start button in bottom
left corner of screen and then click Adobe Reader 9 I get  a popup which displays the 10 most recently opened pdf files.
When I click on Internet Explorer I get the popup list of the 10 most recent visited sites.
When I click Notepad I get the pop up list
of 10 most recently opened .txt files.
When I click paint I get the popup list of the 10 most recent .bmp files.
However when I click the Start button in bottom left corner of screen and then click Microsoft Word 2007 then no popup is displayed.
How can I get a popup to display the 10 most recently opened Microsoft Word 2007 documents.
Awaiting an early reply.
Thanks and Regards,
Siddhartha Kumar
